March 2010 Visit to Martha’s Vineyard
As a family, we like to visit Martha’s Vineyard in the off season. It gives us a chance to enjoy some quiet time, since the island is indeed quiet in March. We were given the gift of a sunny warm weekend, rare for March. Usually the wind is howling, it’s gray and rainy. We spent a lovely afternoon in the fishing village of Menemsha hunting for sea glass and lolling on the warm-ish sand.
