In our home, you just aren’t renting, you are our guest. What is waiting for you at no extra cost:
- Paper goods – toilet paper, paper towels, napkins
- Basic cooking supplies such as herbs & spices, cooking oils, flour & sugar.
- Big lobster pot, crackers & pickers if you want to steam them at home
- Foil, plastic wrap, plastic baggies. Who wants to remember to pack those items?
- Bath, beach, kitchen and hand towels. Washcloths.
- Green cleaning supplies
- Cleaning sponges
- Gloves to wear while cleaning if you need them
- Conventional cleaning supplies
- Liquid hand soap in each bathroom, as well as in the kitchen
- Laundry items – detergents, stain removers, and bleach, green and conventional
- (1) hair dryer
- Down comforters with covers for the colder months, quilts for the warmer seasons
- Pillows in zippered pillow covers
- A fan for every room
- A small office with a desk and phone if you need to get work done
- Black-out blinds in the 2 bedrooms that get the most sun. Great for when the baby needs a nap!
- Tweezers and a tick removal tool in the kitchen utility drawer. This is Martha’s Vineyard, we have ticks.
- Air conditioning
- A kitchen filled with all the pot, pans, utensils and dishes you need to cool up a great meal
- A new BBQ grill in 2010! Yay!
- A new sectional sofa in 2010! Yay!
- Ping Pong table and a Foosball in the basement. We have a dehumidifier in the basement so it isn’t icky to be there.
- Beach rolling cart to get all your stuff from your car to the beach
- Sand toys for the kids
- Boogie boards
- Baby Bjorn to load the baby up on your front
- Baby back pack to load the kid up on your back
- (1) Graco Pack-n-Play crib
- Baby monitor
- Baby gates for the top and the bottom of the stairs
- Two toddler bed rails in case you have a little one that still needs a bit of protection from rolling off, though we only recommend them for the bottom bunk in the bunk bed room or the top bunk with an older child.

- Step stools – another item you don’t think to bring with you when you travel but are important when you have little kids that needs to wash their hands at the sink
- Private outdoor shower
- Screened-in 3 season sun porch

- High speed wi-fi internet April through October
- Digital cable with HBO April through October
- Unlimited long distance phone service in the United States April through October
- Toys, books, puzzles, DVD’s & VCR tapes for the toddlers & children (SO many books for your toddlers & little kids!)
- Tons of books and DVD’s for the grown ups
- Games for children and adults
- Flat screen, stereo & DVD player in the living room & the master bedroom. TV with VCR/DVD player in downstairs bedroom.
- Atari Classic video game console with 40 games on it. How’s that for nostalgia? The kids won’t appreciate it nearly as much as you will!
- All the beds have mattress covers
- I even have a great neck pillow should you need it
- Cleaning is included.
What are some items we do not provide?
- Sheets or pillow cases. There just isn’t enough time for our cleaner to wash all of the towels & bath mats as well as the sheets, and still have the home ready for the next set of renters. So remember to bring sheets for a king, 2 queens, a twin and a full mattresses.
The list of what we provide far outweighs the list of what we do not provide. I have yet to come across a rental in this price point that offers so much, if I do say so myself.
